Eccentric Presence is an invigorating Melbourne band who play Rock and Roll and everything in between. They have five members who met at school and took their shared passion for music far beyond.
Their songs contain classic guitar rock influences with a heavy contemporary twist which keeps up with the times. The band comes from such a broad range of musical experience that their songwriting excites with its originality as well as its punch. Their guitars go from catchy riffs one moment to searing solos the next, while the bass and drums lay down a powerful groove and their vocals shine through.
In 2018, they went from covers and open mics to having their own, electrifying original content. They recorded those songs themselves and are launching their debut 6-track EP, ‘The First Step’s The Hardest’ at the Workers Club on April 3rd, with support from lyrical solo artist Gus Campbell and new local band Le Monde.
