EBIPHÉ celebrates their debut headline hosted by Colour Club, bringing their vibrant neo-psyche soul sound to the Melbourne nu-jazz scene.

EBIPHE’s DEBUT HEADLINER HAS FINALLY COME. Bringing a celebration of freedom and life through music. Joined by the transformative & improvisational NIKODIMOS AND THE FREESPEAKERS (3 piece), the exceptional cinematic synth project FOXQUEL POPE and the magnificent RITA BASS on DJ decks all night.

Naarm based six piece, lead and fronted by songwriter/vocalist Phoebe Parsons, blend and introduce a heavy melting pot of sounds exploring neo-psyche soul, edging free jazz and hard driving boom funk. Sprinkling electric groove based music with Jill Scott inspired lyricism and poetry and Nai Palm inspired songwriting, birth EBIPHE, with Jack Eden (bass), Blake Hansen (drums), Marley Del Prete (trumpet), Declan Peel (Guitar) and Yo-el Segal (Keys and Synth).

The whole evening will be draped in psychedelic art visuals by ‘Atmosfera Lightshow’ (Liam Randals-Martin).

Nikodimos and the Free Speakers:

Nikodimos and the Free Speakers is a transformative improvisational experience that features a new lineup every gig. There are no thoughts, no motives, only free speaking!

Foxquel Pope:

Foxquel Pope is the solo project of Melbourne musician Scott Simington.

His music is a combination of vocal samples of his own voice, synth arpeggios, cinematic soundscapes, and live drums and vocals. Psychedelic experimental vibes. Think Philip Glass x Enya x Animal Collective.
