Drive South is a quintet created by up and coming Melbourne musicians Thomas Bell, Angus Davison, Arthur Xafis, Jack Smythe and Kieran Rule. Dedicated to exploring the intersection of jazz, rock, and country, the band is influenced by jazz musicians such as Julian Lage and Bill Frisell as well as the country stylings of artists such as Joni Mitchell and the Everly Brothers. They will play an eclectic mix of music inspired by dogs, homesickness, and the king of rock and roll.
