DPRS will be barrel rollin' back onto the Yah’s bandstand on Saturday June 14th to launch the first single, 'No Wave Summer' off their upcoming album! Pushing their staunch agenda of lo-fi garage surf rock with spreadable crunch, the sextet will be performing all the best from their debut studio album "The State of Modern Surf" and other fan favourites, as well as some fresh material. As a bonus, this show TRIPLES as a happy birthday party for Ricky Riptide and a see-you-soon for Ken Malibu, as he goes international for a couple of months on riplomatic duties. Always a chaotic live show, we recommend staying between the flags and enjoy one of our $10 Espresso Martinis for this one!
The supports paddlin’ on down for this one are Bel Air Lip Bombs & Black Bats. Thus will be good fun so visitors are advised to get in early. And unlike most band rooms, we’re open 'til 5AM here at Yah’s so you can kick on for no extra charge. So by all means, disgust your parents.
