‘What if we made it across the border before midnight?’, a question (or variation of one) that has undoubtedly crossed many minds. Our collective longing for a getaway has perhaps never been so tangible.

To celebrate the launch of his debut EP ‘Dawn Calling’ out via Nothin Personal, Don Glori takes you on a drive through regional Victoria. An hour long film journeying through the uniquely beautiful Australian landscape, live-scored by Don Glori and band, trying to capture the feeling of being back on the road; being on tour.

Starting at the wild rivers and granite monoliths of the alpine region and winding down through to the golden hills and twisted gums of the shires of Murrundindi and Mansfield, visiting Taungurung, Boonwurrung, Wurundjeri and Eastern Maar country. This performance is an attempt to capture and create a feeling familiar to so many of us. An attempt for Don Glori to re- imagine and distill what would have been -in a non-pandemic world- a tour, into an experience that can be shared.

Weaving in and out of tracks off the EP while responding and improvising to the film being projected behind them, the live- score will be the bands sonic interpretation of this collective longing.

This event will take place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation
