Due to a poorly timed global pandemic the two bands canceled their joint 2020 tour and were forced to release their albums in isolation. Subsequently they hunkered down and wrote a new album each. In this, their first show in over a year, both bands will properly launch their 2020 albums and present new material written during lockdown for the first time.

K5 are a three-piece band from Castlemaine Victoria that formed in 2019. Zeb from Matrimony plays guitar and sings, Nicole from RRR's Respect the Rock plays bass and Julia from the library hits the drums.

DEAD are Castlemaine’s long standing ambassadors to the world of all things weird and heavy – touring globally since 2010 and releasing a stack of music along the way. Fiercely DIY and boasting a resume that includes working alongside bands such as Jucifer, Black Cobra and members of Melvins!

Joining them in Geelong are The Grimwoods.
