After exploding onto the radar of international tastemakers with their acclaimed 2017 debut EP 'X, Y, Z’ and stamping themselves as one of Australia’s most promising upcoming bands on the live circuit, Sydney-based indie rock quartet CREO aren’t showing any signs of slowing down. Kicking off the year with a performance at Australia’s summer blockbuster Falls Festival, the band have only catapulted themselves to further heights in 2018, inking a management deal with Bear Parts Music ahead of the release of their sophomore EP, ‘In The Red’, which has already been snapped up by Kobalt for digital distribution. The band’s fresh collection of urgent, guitar-fuelled indie rock hymns is slated to arrive later this year, hot on the heels of its globally-frothed predecessor. Lauded by Rolling Stone Australia as “a battle scene primarily directed by the instrumentation, with the partnership of dream-pop escapism and equally optimistic vocal quips”, CREO’s 2017 'X, Y, Z’ EP was also embraced locally by key tastemakers triple j, FBi, 3RRR, RTR, 4ZZZ, not to mention international hypesters Indie Obsessive (USA), The Daily Listening (USA) and The Revue (CAN).
