What do you get when you take five ambitious and manic musicians from far-flung suburbs and country towns and lock them in an inner-city Melbourne rehearsal room? You get Creature Fear – a compelling mix of 60’s garage rock and modern atmospherics rolled into a full-bore, shoes-off sound that can still whisper sweet nothings in your ear.

After a huge 2020 (despite the dreaded COVID-19 putting a halt to some plans), the band are excited to show punter's what they've been working so hard on as they launch their EP "17 Minutes of Creature Fear" at the Gaso!

With a string of high-profile supports and festivals to their name including the likes of Boo Seeka, Ball Park Music, Kingswood, Beyond the Valley & St Kilda Festival, Creature Fear have done things the old-fashioned way - earning their live stripes first. With their theatrical, leg-spasming live show turning heads, Creature Fear are not just an energetic live act but have something interesting and startlingly original to say. With their mix of character based songs (Ranging from seedy crime scenes to sci-fi epics) and more raw personal tunes covering impressively diverse genres, the music works along their most striking asset: the dual lead vocals of Graham’s garbled menace and singer Jacqui Lumsden’s Joni-meets-Janis pristine shrieks.

Come and celebrate the band's debut EP and join in the fun for what will be a HUGE show in the band's history!
