Presented by Amber Mic Productions, The Gasometer Hotel (Upstairs) is coming alive on Wednesday, February 24th with the big sounds of Kitty Rae, Little Theatre, Candice Alisha and Gordon Lewis. An incredible spectacle of New Australian Artists, this night is one you definitely won’t want to miss!

Witness the debut headlining show for Melbourne based, dark pop artist Kitty Rae. She’s creating a reputation for her energetic live shows that are sure to grasp your soul with hard-hitting lyrics and whisk you off your feet with driven beats that get you moving. Her sultry vocals, groovy beats and meaningful lyrics are reminiscent of Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Vera Blue - with her own unique sound blossoming throughout her work as witnessed in her debut EP from 2020, The Prelude.

Think Indie Rock with a 90’s alternative influence and you’ll have an idea of what you’re in for when Melbourne-based musician Gordon Lewis takes to the stage with his guitar. His infectious melodies and thoughtful lyrics will draw you in. Combine that with his sparkling guitar lines layered on top of his drum, bass and harmony loops and you’ll swear that you’re listening to a full band. Gordon has hit the ground running in 2021 with a number of live shows on the back of the release of his second single ‘The Letter’ in 2020. He is currently in the studio working on his debut EP set to be released in 2021.

Candice Alisha is a 21-year-old blues and folk singer songwriter originally hailing from Wodonga, Victoria but now local to Melbourne after making the move to the big city to pursue her career at the beginning of 2019. After working as a full-time musician in various bands for the better part of a decade, Candice has struck out on her own with her strong, deep and powerful vocals and magnetic stage presence launching her solo career, with her debut EP coming out in 2021.

Little theatre is the solo project of Eric Benz. After mainly focusing on acoustic singer/songwriter styles in the early days, Little Theatre would probably best be described as an Indie Rock project with fuzzy electric guitars, punchy rhythm sections, sombre melodies and lyrics that often refer to heart break and dealing with uncertainty, and at times toxicity in a relationship.
