Danish-Australian singer-songwriter Christopher Engel is launching his debut single ‘Wasting My Time’ with a big headline show at The Workers Club full of groovy tunes and rich baritone vocals. ‘Wasting My Time’ is a track about the fragile relationship between success and happiness. The lyrics explore the loneliness and doubt that can result from isolating yourself to pursue your goals.

Reminiscent of an early John Mayer, Christopher’s sound centers on acoustic guitar and captivating lyrics. ‘Wasting My Time’ is the first single off Christopher’s upcoming EP set to release in late 2019, and the performance will feature other originals that have been compared to George Ezra, John Legend and Coldplay. Sure to have you singing along, the set will also include some classic covers of artists such as Elvis Presley and Queen.

Supporting Christopher on the night will be singer-songwriter Jess Tyler with an acoustic set and pop/RnB artist Thorne backed by his full band. Whether you’re just finishing off uni exams or looking for a night out, this great lineup has got you covered!
