Abe returns to Open Studio to launch Charango Unchained, his latest recording, exploring the sounds and textures of Latin American music. What's on offer is a funky fusion of stringed instruments, percussion, singing and catchy songwriting that is as groovy as it is authentic and original. The night will be a mix of new and old music by Abe, featuring invited guests to add different flavours to the mix. First set presents Charango Unchained songs and the second will be taken from the Abe Dunovits Songbook, including material from recent lockdown releases such as Sigh of the Timesand Saved by the Taco Belle plus Abe's timeless hits.
