In advance of his self-titled EP out July 27 via Godmode (Yaeji, Shamir), Channel delivers new single 'Jet Black', another taste of his unorthodox union of four-on-the-floor and Compton.

Jet Black is an oozy ode to the blackest of black over a ferocious modular synth that takes cues from industrial and early electro. Directed by cult filmmaker Anthony Sylvester, the accompanying video captures Channel's hometown of Compton at its most contorted, where barbershops double as churches and liquor stores become after-hour raves.
