Melbourne-based ensemble Chamber Obscura is the culmination of years of collective tango passion. Featuring Violin, Piano, Guitar, Double Bass and Accordion, Chamber Obscura bring their eclectic experience in world music to give a fresh approach to traditional and Piazzolla tango works. Chamber Obscura’s breadth includes styles such as flamenco and afro-cuban, combining classical skill with virtuosic improvisation. Working as a chamber ensemble these four talented musicians breathe together to interpret and bring new light to classic compositions. Their live performances are vibrant and dynamic.

In March 2008 Gospel Sundays was born. A totally unabandoned praise party, Gospel Sundays now has a reputation of lifting the spirits of the many people from various backgrounds who attend. Taking listeners from deep soul stirring songs encouraging people to “not give up” or to”let go and let God have His way” to increase their faith with praise and declarations from Duet 28 “We’re blessed in the city, we’re blessed in the fields…”. With the combination of established Australian singers and musicians using their gifts to give all they have in delivering a vibrant Sunday afternoon “that will leave you feeling refreshed, cultured and truly lucky”.

Ana Kulaia, female vocalist, combines her passionate faith with her soulful voice to contribute to this lineup of esteemed musicians. Her past achievements in the Australian music industry has given her invaluable experience however even she would say, it’s her church that has truly trained her for the ministry that is gospel music.
