Cats and the Canary is Australia's first and only Greek swing band.
The band pays a unique tribute to some of Greece's most prolific composers, blending the melodies of Theodorakis, Tsitsanis, Chiotis, Hadjidakis, and occasionally the odd tsifteteli or traditional smyrniotiko with swing, jazz, and even Latin sounds.
