The Brunswick Women’s Choir is more than a choir – we’re a collective of diverse women who are passionate about social justice and believe in the power of music to unite, inspire and bring about change. A community of 40 women, we embrace our power as a stronger voice together. We sing for equality. We sing for women. We sing to make a difference. Our repertoire celebrates nature, protests social injustice and embraces the human spirit. We sing songs that speak to the fragility of life and earth, shout powerful messages of strength and solidarity, and challenge our audience’s perceptions. We feel an affinity with like-minded organisations, communities and musicians. Nothing makes us happier than to collaborate with others who share our values and celebrate our shared vision of a better world. Shake It Up is our first showcase concert since 2019. We’re so excited to be performing again with some new songs and old favourites, and look forward to celebrating our return with you
