Prepare for the triumphant return of Kiwi sludge rock overlords Beastwars as they celebrate singer Matt Hyde's cancer being in remission after he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2017.
After a 2 year hiatus Beastwars re-emerged in July with four sold out shows in New Zealand and will be joining Shihad on their 30th anniversary tour before heading back to Australia this November.
"Being in remission is a blessing ," Matt says, "The amount of fans that reached out to me while I was ill was mind blowing. I never thought that there were so many people that our music had touched and connected with. While health is on my side we thought that we should play some shows again. It's crazy that getting sick is the thing that has brought us back together."
Proudly presented by Panhead Custom Ales AU, Beastwars will be joined at The Eveyln Hotel by Child, Holy Serpent and Honeybone - it'll be a night to celebrate life, good friends and huge riffs.
