Dave the band are 3 Newcastle indie-rock / singer-songwriters creating relatable, heartfelt musical stories that speak to our deepest selves. No one in the band is named “Dave” but together they combine to be very “Dave-like,” like your mate “Dave,” a kind, reliable friend who’s always there for you but also doesn’t indulge any of your shit.

With a reputation for an emotional live show, dave the band's style of upfront performance is as engaging as it is infectious. After a string of EP releases, the band are set to release their long- awaited debut album in 2020 "Slob Stories". Recorded in Chicago with legendary producer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies), it’s a creative leap-forward and really showcases how far dave the band have come.
