Arif Direncer is a musician, singer, composer, and songwriter who has written over 50 songs which have been recorded and released in Turkey by famous singers. Early music career; At sixteen his Physics teacher encouraged him to buy his first instrument which was a guitar.

Within one year he started performing at bars, restaurants and cafes and began writing songs. Within a short time, Arif had established himself as a renowned songwriter. At age twenty he decided to leave Architecture and pursue a career in Music, auditioning and being accepted at Eastern Mediterranean University. It was there where he studied composition, theory, piano, and violin in western classical music. In 2002 in his second year, he and his family decided to migrate from Cyprus to Australia. He did not know that this was going to bring twelve years to break to his musical career.
