Aplegate are a 5-piece improvised psychedelic rock band based in Narrm/Melbourne. Drawing inspiration from psych rock, jazz and the jam band scene, live performances manifest as a continual fluid set, comfortably at home in a festival, pub or bush doof setting, with a focus on live improvisation that feeds off the energy of the crowd, interwoven with songs and arrangements that are melodic and moving.

Forming in Naarm/Melbourne after bonding over a shared love of Duane Allman and Dicky Betts’ lead work, Creek are four “hippie-looking blokes” with Telecasters, determined to make some noise on this planet. Kicking things off in 2016 as a guitar-centric force reminiscent of early 70’s southern rock, the millennials have branched outward to nurture their unique sound through blending elements of psychedelic/garage rock, funk, jazz, and prog rock.
