It’s been a long time since APES graced the stage…over 5 years in fact. What was initially a brief hiatus, progressed into a subtle goodbye. A lot has happened in the APES family in that time, and we’d like the chance to come together with everyone who supported us throughout the years and have one last run at it. We truly thank everyone whoever came to see a show, let us crash on their floor, bought a shirt, sung our songs, shouted us a beer, played a show with us, let us support, worked with us and everything in between. The APES journey is a truly special time for us, and we hope a farewell show will be a good proper send off. As stated, a lot has happened in the APES family over the past five years, the biggest change being the passing of our beloved bass man Sam. As much as it is a farewell show for the band, it’s a chance to get together and celebrate the heart and soul of the band, Sam Reale.

All proceeds from the show will being going to charity in an effort to combat mental health. We’re super thankful and excited to have some of Melbourne’s greatest bands joining us on the night, to make the goodbye super special. But for now, they remain top secret 

So be sure to come down and let it rip one more time, whilst also raising money for a great cause. We will be selling all our remaining merch and vinyl with proceeds from that also going to Charity. Hope to see you there!
