Brilliant young guitarist Kathleen Halloran has put together an eclectic jazz trio driven by a fun - yet fierce - approach to improvised music. Featuring the melodically rich guitar stylings of Kathleen Halloran, these are complemented by the highly experienced team of the exceptionally versatile and inspiring Darryn Farrugia on drums, and bassist Kim May’s supportive and interactive work in the lower registers. The trio frequently perform around Melbourne to sold out crowds and have performed at festivals such as the 2020 Melbourne International Jazz Festival, 2019 Stonnington Jazz Festival and the 2018 International Women's Jazz Festival. With influences ranging from Pat Metheny to Brad Mehldau Trio and Maceo Parker, you can expect a little bit of everything delivered with high energy, spirit and big smiles!

Tonight, the trio is joined by the extraordinary talents of Jack Earle (piano) and Niels Rosendahl (tenor saxophone)
