Dave Johnstone from Ammonia, Holocene plus special guests.
Sound as Ever Presents a very special evening of 90s inspired live music.
Dave Johnstone formerly of Ammonia performing Ammonia and solo tracks live for the first time in over 20 years with
a brand new band.
Ammonia broke up in 1999 after 7 years together at the Perth leg of Big Day Out
Classic hits such as Ken Carter, Sleepwalking, You're Not The Only One Who Feels This Way
and Drugs have remained firm favourites with fans and music lovers.
Now, Dave Johnstone will revive the hits from albums Mint 400 and Eleventh Avenue
that soundtracked our youth in his first show in over 20 years.
Dave Johnstone will be supported by Melbourne rock royalty Holocene (first show in 25 years) featuring
Kerrie Hicken, Jo Roberts, Mick Sim and Duncan Hamilton.
In 1994 Holocene were part of the local indie pop takeover.
Songs like Guitarbarella and Pop Astronauts filled the airwaves and Holocene enjoyed an enviable reign
before their premature break-up in 1996.
With more guests to be announced, this will be a never repeated night of nostalgia!
