Folk-tronic Melbourne-based Colombian duo comprising of music producer and songwriter Oscar Jimenez, and visual artist and singer-songwriter, Katherine Gailer, bring you their dynamic new electronic based trio, Amaru Tribe. Nominated for the 2020 Music Victoria Awards as Best Multicultural Act, they have captivated audiences at major festivals such as Womadelaide, Bluesfest, Queenscliff Festival plus international tours to the USA (SXSW), Colombia, Thailand, and Taiwan.

Utilizing electronic beats and live music, the trio bring you a unique and vibrant sound that includes traditional instruments such as Charango and flutes, Tambora and live percussion by Cristian Saavedra (Quarter Street Orchestra). Amaru Tribe are currently preparing the release of their new concept EP 'Songs for the Earth' which, in collaboration with local and international animators, weaves the music with Katherine's award-winning visual artwork. To celebrate this first concert they are pre-releasing the tune ‘Rise Together’, featuring spoken word artist and MC, Luka Lesson. They will also be performing this new single live for the first time at The Night Cat, together with some of the new songs of the upcoming EP. So get ready for something fresh and really special.
