Al Carr returns to the stage in support of his most recent album 'Empty Skies'. The third album from Al and the most sonically assured set of tunes he has released to date. The album includes guest performances from the likes of Shane Reilly on pedal steel. After several attempts to launch the album throughout 2021 lock downs, Al and the band are super excited to finally get the chance to give the album the launch it deserves at the Brunswick Artists Ballroom.

Chris Pickering Experiment is what happens when three musicians with little regard for time restraints, and a desire to stretch the conventions of twang-rock and pop music get together to play and interpret their original songs. Chris Pickering (gtr and vox) has spent more than a minute refining his songwriting sensibilities and musicianship across four album releases and a five-year stint in Nashville, Tennessee. James O'Brien (Bass and vox) writes his own stellar tunes, but his role in the Experiment is to hold down the bottom end, and make sure everyone ends up in the same place. Ben Graham (drums) rounds out the trio as a keen traveller to new sonic landscapes, and always finds something new in between the beats. No arrangements are ever quite the same, as this group continually reinvents its own material in pursuit of something new – searching for some new corner of the musical world to explore.

Rohan Nichol has been performing and releasing music for 20 years. Pulsing, atmospheric and angular, his brand of country blues is at once confessional and brash. Tracing a line from Wilco to Blind Faith, he casts an unflinching eye at addiction, self compassion, and love's hits and misses.
