Every third Sunday of the month, Jazz Sunday takes over the front bar of Howler with a cracking lineup of DJs and Bands to get things a little jazzy in the courtyard.

Jazz Sunday is a monthly take over which features a rotating lineup of bands and DJs hand-selected by Greg Sher of The Rookies.

Bands are carefully selected from Melbourne’s thriving jazz scene showcasing the strength and depth of talented musicians that are capturing attention the world over. Bands such as The Cope Street Parade, Sam Anning's Stretchtropolitans and Julien Wilson's String Theory have performed on stage, while legendary Melbourne selectors such as Shio Otani (PBS) and Fairbanks Robinson (College Of Knowledge Records) have taken over the DJ booth each month sharing their rarest jazz records from their collections.
