Melbourne artists Adrian Whiteheadand Spacecadet Lullabies are thrilled to announce a double vinyl launch at the Wesley Anne on Sunday 21stof October.
Sporting a lush road beard from his recent Australian and European tour, Adrian Whitehead will release a limited edition vinyl of his second album Nerd From The Suburbs. Infused with alt-pop and psychedelic influences, Whitehead’s songs lay bare the human condition and shine a light into the dark corners of our inner worlds. Whitehead will be joined on stage by members of the legendary Moreland City Soul Revue and Aria award winning producer/musician Shane O’Mara.
As Spacecadet Lullabies, Melbourne based producer Matt Lewin returns with a new limited edition vinyl release, Gardens. Lewin’s sound has often explored experimental ambient electronica, but Gardens finds him delving into textural, beat driven pop.
David Bramble has been cooking up some pretty choice feeling in his soul kitchen as of late and is coming down to the Wesley Anne to serve up some serious schmooz to the masses.
Who? He is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, adventurer and smallgoods producer. He has been in various bands and played with many amazing people such as The Basics, Jess Ribiero, Steph Brett, Angie Hart and the Dog with Wheels. He is currently guitarist for the Sugar Fed Leopards and dirty bass player for the breakout groovepunk band Blood Burger.
He is hanging up the strings though for this night which will see him returning to his roots as a Lounge jazz singer. He’ll be playing all kinds of standards and normals with some classic rock and pop hits, smoothstyle. He may even whip out an original. He also may, most likely will, be joined by some of the Melbourne music scene glitterati to put the icing on what is shaping up to be a sweet and sumptuous musical cakefeast.
