Adam Rudegeair is a musician like no other. His eclectic exploration of the synthesis of funk, jazz and more experimental styles has resulted in smooth performances with spontaneous bursts of deep groove.

His dedication to his craft has seen him performing and recording non-stop since that time. Hi biggest influencers are Minneapolisfun, Thelonius Monk, the cosmic tones of Sun Ra, New Orleans piano styling and Medeski Martin and Wood. Adam studied jazz piano with Steve and Bob Sedergreen, Andy Milne (5 Elements Dapp Theory), Mark Soskin (Sonny Rollins) and Laurence Hopgood (Kurt Elling)

Gone Troppo with special guest Alastair Kerr Gone Troppo are a new Melbourne-based duo performing Brazilian choro. Seven-string guitarist Maximillian Rudd and flautist Yael Zamir go tropical and present their youthful brand of choro, a charming instrumental style that channels the colour and exuberance of Brazil. For one night only the duo will be joined by leading local percussionist Alastair Kerr, whose impressive work includes Panorama Brasil, Danny Maia and Trio Agogo. Watch the magic unfold as this trio of friends and collaborators make rhythms reign and cultures collide in that infectious Brazilian way.
