“AAAAH!” is a collective exhibition presented by melbourne artists Julia Pratt & Adriana Artmeier. The work explores struggles with mental health from depression & anxiety to heightened emotions like panic, excitement, awe or shock. Planning for this exhibition started during the last long Lockdown here in Melbourne which emphasised how drastically mental health can change, decline and mental illness can develop. Lastly, it inspired Adriana & Julia to work through these issues with a series of paintings.
