On Friday 25 October, Audrey Powne returns home for a soaring set in the Triple R Performance Space, hosted by Ennio Styles of Stylin'.
An acclaimed composer and multi-instrumentalist, Audrey will showcase songs from her debut From the Fire, a recent Triple R Album of the Week. Inspired by the regrowth of native trees after the 2019 Australian bushfires, the record offers songs of rebirth and survival, blending elements of soul-jazz, classical music, and hip-hop.

On Friday night, Triple R played host to Rose City Band, led by Ripley Johnson! The band brought their country-tinged psychadelic rock to the Performance Space, and entertained us with a cosmic sound that evoked the wide-open spaces of the American West.

Album of the Week
Triple R's Album of the Week is SOS, the anticipated second LP from psychedelic group Nice Biscuit. It extends their signature fuzzy, rhythmic style with new influences, from disco to jazz fusion.
Throughout the album Nice Biscuit reflects on the weight of global crises, channeling hope and gratitude to anger and apathy. Songs respond to these turbulent times, seeking clarity and calm amidst chaos.
