Volunteers are the life-blood of Triple R.
As well as our regular show presenters and graveyarders there are loads of other volunteers doing all sorts of bizarre and ordinary things to keep us on the air.
There are dozens of specific volunteer roles, and we also occasionally call on our dedicated subscribers to help out with one-off needs (ahhh...any air conditioning philanthropists in the house?).
From regular roles like reception, library, production and IT support through to special events like Radiothon and BBQ Day, the station always welcomes willing volunteers (for a full list of roles check out the Volunteer Application Form).
While we're always grateful for the time and talents of our volunteers, sometimes it can take a while for us to find the most appropriate positions for everyone. It's particularly hard to place people outside of office hours but we're working to create volunteer opportunities in the evenings and on weekends. So be patient, keep in touch and we'll do our best to get you involved.
If you're interested in becoming a broadcast volunteer the best place to start is through our radio training course.
If you have previous experience and want to submit a program proposal, make sure you check out the program guide to familarise yourself with the kinds of shows that are already on air. You can then fill in a proposal form form and discuss your idea with the Program Manager.
Sweet sweet Vols - we wouldn't exist without ‘em.

Triple R volunteers have fun, especially on BBQ day.
