More details ↓

At the crossroad of soul, pop, and folk, Alison brings a sophisticated rhythmic energy, fearless tone and honest lyrics to her performances. Alison has formed bands across numerous cities in Australia and abroad to suit her evolving sound, reminiscent of Leif Vollebekk, Joan as Police Woman, and Weather Report, with a touch of Big Thief.

Following her current album ‘The Outside’ (2022), the follow up EP ‘The Way Down’ is set for release in early 2024. The band will be playing a pre-release sneak peak of some songs from the new release.

Wild Dog Mountains;

"Born in a backyard studio in Thornbury in Melbourne lockdown, Wild Dog Mountains play a rustic, lo-fi alt country infused with jangly power pop. Fronted by singer-songwriter Kyle Phillipson, this is a new project, launching a suite of songs written about love, loneliness, dreams of real estate, camping trips gone awry, supermarket lines and assorted other suburban tragedies."
