Audio: Ginger Briggs reviews 'The Lifeboat' by Charlotte Rogan
Charlotte Rogan is a late bloomer in the literary world, but her debut book "The Lifeboat" gets lots of praise from Breakfasters book reviewer Ginger Briggs. It follows the explosion on an ocean liner in the early 1900s, leaving 39 men, women and children stranded on a lifeboat for three weeks. This plot-driven novel is narrated by 22-year-old Grace, and has a murder trial starting and interrupting the time in the lifeboat. Ginger even sees a movie on the horizon.
