Under The Sun: Lo-fi Pioneer Lou Barlow Dives Into His New Solo Record

Across his work with foundational “alternative” acts Sebadoh and Dinosaur Jr, Lou Barlow created a sound that runs the gamut from classic rock worship to insular bedroom pop. On his latest album under his own name, Reason To Live, Barlow explores his home-recording roots and domestic life. Calling into Under the Sun from his new home state of Massachusetts, Barlow chats to Jonathan about returning to the Northeast of America and the enjoyable tension between his collaborative and solo projects.

Reason to Live is out now on Poison City Records.
