The Rap: Learning About Indigenous Astronomy with Krystal De Napoli

Krystal De Napoli, a Kamilaroi astrophysics student at Monash University, joins the program to give the run-down on her upcoming MPavilion talk, 65,000+ Years of Indigenous Astronomy (on Saturday 8 February). She discusses the role of orality in sharing and preserving Indigenous knowledge of astronomy, as well as how this knowledge informed agricultural practices and predictions. Krystal also talks about how Indigenous astronomical observations are being reinvigorated and integrated into the national school curricula.
