Laura Tingle, Chief Political Correspondent for ABC’s 7.30, joins the program to discuss her recent Quarterly Essay, “The High Road: What Australia Can Learn From New Zealand”. 

Laura discusses some of the key similarities between the countries that she analyses in her article, including the agricultural roots of the two nations, as well as the disparate ways they developed in response to similar domestic events during the 1980s and the way that New Zealand has approached Treaty with its Indigenous people.
