The Grapevine: How Simon Holmes à Court Pulled Off 'The Big Teal'
One of the biggest stories to come out of May’s federal election was undoubtedly the rise of the ‘Teal’ independents. These independents were not just united by a desire for stronger action on climate change and a focus on integrity: each campaign was backed by Climate 200, the lobby group founded by Simon Holmes à Court. With the release of his new essay titled The Big Teal, Simon drops by the Triple R studios to chat about the origins of Climate 200 and his reflections on the campaign now that it is in the rear-view. Simon also chats about the future of Climate 200, including their plans for the upcoming Victorian State Elections.
The Big Teal is out now as part of Monash University Publishing’s In The National Interest series.
