Dave Mason of legendary Dubbo rock band The Reels joins Woody Mcdonald for a chat about the group’s history, the ennui of Dubbo in the 1970s, as well as his latest projects.

Dave is visiting Melbourne, recently playing with Brendan Gallagher and Martin Frawley at the Brunswick Ballroom. Woody and Dave talk at length about 1970s post-punk, the evolution of the synthesiser and what music made him passionate about starting a band.
