Stopping the Merry-Go-Round of Disadvantage for Homeless Indigenous Women

Housing Week is happening from August 4 to 10 and seeks to raise awareness about homelessness in Australia. During this time, Elizabeth Morgan House Aboriginal Women’s Services (EMH) will be heading out to locations, including the Aboriginal Children’s Court, in order to discuss housing issues and factors that contribute to homelessness for Aboriginal women. Jo Doherty is from EMH and joins The Mission to discuss how homelessness exacerbates vulnerability and what EMH is doing to address homelessness for Indigenous women.
