Over the last three years, 6 News has grown from a YouTube-based primary school project to a round-the-clock independent news site entirely staffed by young people. With reporters all across Australia (and even one based in South Carolina), 6 News was created by Leonardo Puglisi with the goal of creating an unbiased and innovative media site.

Leo joins Spin Cycle to chat about the origins of the site, balancing school and journalism and how he’s dealt with the recent twitter storm that erupted over their regular fact-checking segment.
