From the time when mob weren’t allowed to leave the Christian Mission to the era of the Stolen Generation, Sandy Greenwood’s family has experienced generations of upheaval and challenge. Her new one-woman show, Matriarch, explores her identity as a Dunghutti/Gumbayngrrii woman through the stories and experiences of four generations of her ancestry. She chats to the Breakfasters about its debut at this year’s Melbourne Fringe Festival.
