This week it was announced that no charges would be laid against the police officers involved in the 2017 death of Tanya Day, a Yorta Yorta woman who died after being injured in police custody. Lawyer for the family of Tanya Day, Monique Hurley of the Human Rights Law Centre, joins Read The Room's Madeline Hayman-Reber and guest presenter Jim Malo to discuss the long and difficult journey to seek just for Day's family, and why police investigating themselves is problematic.
