Read the Room: The evolution of Indigenous hip hop

Over the weekend, Yorta Yorta man, writer and host of RRR's ‘The Mission’, Daniel James, published an article with the Sydney Morning Herald looking at the evolution of Indigenous hip hop - the role it's playing to help fight oppression, celebrate identity and call for recognition of sovereignty.

He joined Bez Zewdie and Jim Malo - filling in for Osman Faruqi and Madeline Hayman-Reber - to chat about everything from the genre's accessibiltiy, its connection to traditional First Nations' music, and why marginalised communities are so drawn to it.
