A recent report released by the Coroners Court of Victoria has provided confronting data about the suicide rates amongst LGBTQIA+ communities in Victoria. The Radiotherapy team explore the issues and questions raised by the report, the first of its kind in Victoria, and discuss how accurate reporting and safe conversations around suicides in vulnerable populations can help direct funding into places where it will be most beneficial.
