Nashville singer songwriter Buddy Miller joins Brian Wise on Off The Record to talk about the making of his new self-titled album.

A long-time touring and session musician, Buddy has collaborated on countless musical projects, including those of Gillian Welch, Emmy Lou Harris and Robert Plant. Buddy Miller is his first solo record in 15 years but is still a collaborative affair - with features including Dan Penn, Jim Lauderdale and his wife and long-time collaborator Julie Miller to name a few.

Buddy is full of stories of touring, recording and love for his musical community.

"I haven't released a solo album in 20 years, but I've been doing a lot of other stuff!"

The album is out now.
