Coburg’s soulful journeymen Surprise Chef join Chris in the RRR studios to chat about some big news. Lachlan Stuckey and Jethro Curtin from the band are excited that they have signed with the Brooklyn label, Big Crown Records, which was started in 2016 by Leon Michels and Danny Akalepse. They explain that a few years back they felt like their favourite artists existed only in the past and didn’t know what they could offer contemporary soul music. But one listen to Big Crown Records changed their trajectory and they are now celebrating the release of their new single "Velodrome".
