Neon Sunset: Broken English - the Masterwork of Marianne Faithfull
A new film looks to disrupt the corrupted data set that tells the story of Marianne Faithfull- musician, poet, cultural disruptor, frontline fighter for female liberation and icon. Broken English is a fascinating and deeply moving film made by Iain Forsythe and Jane Pollard, now showing as part of MIFF. The film features Marianne's final ever performance with Nick Cave and Warren Ellis and the directors joined Annaliese on Neon Sunset to talk about who decides how legacies are forged, the differece between remembering and not forgetting, how the film came about and so much more.
