Neon Sunset: Behind A Long Time Alone 4, The Comp Series Championing Music Made During COVID

Over the last couple of years, local record label Blow Blood Records has been releasing their A Long Time Alone series, dedicated to presenting “songs by Australians living in Covid-19 lockdown”. The series, curated by Blow Blood founder (and Teenage Hate co-presenter) Christina Pap, has just put out its fourth and final instalment and scored a 3RRR Album Of The Week nod to boot. Christina drops by Neon Sunset to chat about the aims of the compilation, how she went about compiling the 100+ tracks that appear across the four instalments, and the slow re-emergence of Melbourne’s punk scene.
