Mystifying Melbourne’s Field Trip To Puffing Billy

Mystifying Melbourne is going all things choo-choo and taking you on a railroad journey to Melbourne’s past. Aisha is going train-crazy, playing all your favourite train-related tunes and having a chat to David from the Puffing Billy Museum in Menzies Creek. Puffing Billy is a Victorian Government narrow gage railroad that’s been open since 1900. It has a strong volunteer community, which supports the museum, gives tours and maintains all the train-related artefacts. David is passionate about Puffing Billy as he wants to share the history and stories of the people who worked on the train or used it for their livelihood. The new museum provides an opportunity for all people, train fanatics or not, to get up close with some serious locomotives.

(Unfortunately, it has since had to temporarily close; you can head to their website for updates.)
