Maps: Cruisin’ With Emily Wurramara

Singer-songwriter Emily Wurramara is a proud Indigenous performer from Groote Eylandt, Northern Territory. She joins Maps to talk about her new single “Cruisin’”.

Emily’s first new material since her 2018 debut Milyakburra, “Cruisin’” is dedicated to her hometown, family and godbrother Dion. Chatting to summer host Simona Castricum, Emily catches us up on her 2020, from spending lockdown in Tasmania to beginning work on her second album. She also chats about returning to the live stage after an interrupted 2020, with a string of upcoming dates with Summersalt Festival and The Whitlams.
