Grunge legends Mudhoney are touring Australia for the first time in nearly a decade. Frontman Mark Arm stepped out of the band’s first rehearsal down under to chat to Pauly P ahead of their shows.
The pair look back on Mudhoney’s 35-year history and enduring relationship with Australia, with Arm admitting he still think’s the band’s scorching debut single ‘Touch Me I'm Sick’ is “a ripper.” He also talks about getting old, why “managers are for arseholes,” and his love of Australian music - especially good mates the Cosmic Psychos.
“We were really influenced by underground music of Australia of the 80s and 70s - so it was a huge thing for us to come here”
Mudhoney play Cherry Rock on Sunday April 30th.
